Here is a sample of my poetry. In July of 2006 I traveled 9,000 miles to marry my BEAUTIFUL bride Kathlene in her home town in the Philippines. I wrote this poem long before I met Kathlene, but I think it gives a small picture of what true love is!

Love is an ocean inside our dreams,
we spend our lives searching the rivers, the streams.
Sifting the water to find one drop
that fills our hearts, brightens our lot.
Finding the needle in the haystack, true,
would be much easier a task to do.
But with the struggles come rewards
a vision of love much like our Lord's.
Love cannot be measured, seen, or heard.
Never in four letters, a more powerful word.
It makes whole nations rise and fall
and melts the heart with just one call.
Love touches millions, broken and whole,
with one spark ignites the soul.
It's greatest power is held by the few,
an unstoppable force when shared by two.
Hills and valleys are a part of the game,
True love faces all unchanged.
Strength comes from the climb,
to the heights only two can find.
Love was created before the world,
filled with the power of God's arms unfurled.
The power to sway Presidents and Kings,
contained in the song true love brings.
